Refund Policy
Effective May 2026. Refund and cancellation
terms for one-time licences and subscriptions.
Short version. Every app ships with a free 30-day trial,
so you can evaluate it fully before paying. If you still want a refund
within 14 days of purchase, email us and we'll process it - no questions
asked. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and continue working
until the end of the paid period.
1. Free trial
Every paid app on this store offers a free 30-day trial that runs the
full feature set with no payment up front. The trial is the recommended
way to evaluate the app, and we strongly encourage you to use it before
buying.
2. One-time licence refunds
For one-time perpetual licences (e.g. velun,
Minuter local):
- You may request a refund within 14 days of the
original purchase date, for any reason - no questions asked.
- After the 14-day window, refunds are at our discretion and are
typically granted only where the app does not work as documented
and we cannot resolve the issue.
- Once a refund is issued, the licence is revoked. Please uninstall
the app from your devices.
Where you are a consumer in the EU/UK, statutory withdrawal rights
under the Consumer Rights Directive apply in addition to (and may
exceed) the 14-day window above. Nothing in this policy limits those
rights.
3. Subscription cancellation and refunds
For monthly subscription tiers (e.g. Minuter cloud):
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from inside the app or
via the customer billing portal link in your order receipt.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
You keep access to the subscription features until that date.
- Pro-rated refunds for partial months are not offered. If you
cancel mid-month, you continue to have access until the end of the
period you have already paid for.
- The first 14 days of a brand-new paid subscription (i.e. your first
purchase, not a renewal) are eligible for a full refund on request.
4. Failed payments and chargebacks
If your payment method fails on a renewal, your subscription will be
suspended until you update it; we won't automatically cancel for a
single failed charge. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback -
in almost every case we can resolve the issue more quickly than the
chargeback process can, and chargebacks impose substantial fees on us
as a small independent developer.
5. How to request a refund
Email eu (at) manueldeprada (dot) com from the address you
used at checkout, or quote your order ID. Include:
- The order ID (visible in the receipt from the merchant of record);
- Optionally, the reason - this is not required for the 14-day
no-questions-asked refund, but it helps us improve the product.
6. How long it takes
Refunds are processed by the merchant of record (Paddle or equivalent)
on our instruction. Once we approve a refund, it is normally returned
to the original payment method within 3-10 business days, depending on
your card issuer or bank.
